STi Video Mail Foundation Edition v1.0

STi Video Mail is an application for sending video emails that can either run integrated into your site or as a standalone application for Windows. The Foundation Edition is meant to give developers the building blocks they need to learn, as well as an entry level solution for site owners wanting to introduce video mail features.

How does it work?

This application takes advantage of the video recording feature of Flash Media Server to record video from your webcam through the Flash interface on your website or desktop application. Once you have setup the email address you want to send the video to, record your video and press send. That's all there is to it! Once that email reaches the person of your choice, they click the link and are taken to view the video online.

This package includes :

All source files: server side ASC files, client side AS class files, and the FLA file with instructions on where to place the files and set up the xml file to match your server.

The source files are quite organized and can be a good learning source to those that are studying developing FCS/FMS live application.

Requirements:

Web Recording Version
Flash Communication Server 1.5 or Flash Media Server 2 or Flash Media Interactive Server 3
Support for ASP, ColdFusion or PHP. (ASP/PHP/CFM scripts provided - Need another programming language version? Let us know.)
Version 7 or higher of the Flash Player on client side (in browser).


This application does not come with any type of support, it is an AS-IS application.
