We have a brand new product out called STi Video Recorder for Wowza Media Server HD Edition v3. This application allows you to record your video straight to your Wowza Media Server and stream it right back out with viewer stats all built into one small application. Use this application to record and manage videos online and push them out to your blog, site, forum or other online page. Check that out here.

Wowza Media Server with Flex Chat Application Version 4.4
- Added code to check ability to use the enhanced microphone abilities of the latest Flash Player
- Added code to use the enhanced microphone functionality to enable echo cancellation within the video pods
- Added an Application.xml file that will work with Wowza Media Server v3

Wowza Media Server with Flex Chat Application Version 4.3
- Add a whole new administration panel to assist with administration of the chat
- Improved security by not allowing spaces in user name

This is a new and improved basic video/audio/text chat application with the ability to invite other users to a private room. The Foundation Edition is meant to give developers the building blocks they need to learn, as well as an entry level solution for those needing a basic chat system. The source code is in AS3 and MXML with the Flex 4.5 SDK.

{ 11/2010 } This is an amazing tutorial series that covers the basics of working and developing with Flash CS5 and Actionscript 3. The goal of this tutorial series is to make sure to get the basics of working with AS3 firmly under your belt so that further tutorials become that much easier to walk through. This way you're not struggling to understang things like external classes, creating functions, managing events and the basic tips and tricks that come along with years of developing with Flash and Flash Media Server.

{ 05/2010 } Solid Thinking Interactive was requested by Patricia Hunter to completely rebuild and rebrand her dentist website and give the business a brand new look and presence on the web. We completely redesigned the logo and came up with some new bright colours to properly reflect the friendly and open image of the company.

{ 01/2010 } Solid Thinking Interactive was requested by Hailstorm Media, a video production company here in Vancouver, to put together an online identity with a tight deadline of a week! We managed to get all items put together and a special request to taking advantage of Flash Media Server and Flash to stream display videos that the company has put together for their clients. { 07/2009 } This is an amazing tutorial series that covers a large area of multiuser application development with Flash Media Server. Enjoy and take complete advantage of over 4 hours of video tutorials and of course you get the source code for the application to follow along with. It doesn't get better than this!

{ 05/2009 } STi Chat Foundation Edition Version 3 has been released. Check out the new version built with actionscript 3 for better performance and ability to build on top of it easily.

{ 06/09/2008 } We've added a new store area for our products! At this point in time we have two applications for sale. A video chat application and a video email application that are both built to utilize Flash Media Server and Flash. These can very easily be incorporated into your own site or even applications. This is because the source files are provided with the application so you can adjust it accordingly to your own branding. Support for these applications is extra, so please contact us for any questions about that.

{ 11/06/2007 } To go with our blog that we have a whole dedicated area to tutorials about FMS, we've decided to just go ahead and create a whole site dedicated to learning about Flash Media Server. It's called FMSGuru.com and you can check it out here.

Please keep in mind though that we do professional consulting for FMS so please keep your questions in the easy to intermediate area or we might not be able to answer.

{ 03/21/2007 } We have a new service that we will be offering our clients. From this point forward we are accepting development and design work with Flex 2.0. Flex is a relatively new technology for creating Rich Internet Applications and is really picking up speed on the internet for creating new experiences that run in the browser. { 08/16/2006 } Placed in the lower left corner of B.C., Canada, Surrey Little Theatre is definitely Surrey's little theatre with a big heart. This theatre is host to many community plays and is an enrichening experience to all that attend and watch these plays. We were very proud to build this site as a community project at no charge to the theatre. Check it out here.

{ 04/15/2006 } STi's Lead Designer, Kris Honeycutt, acted as a contributing author for the upcoming Flash 8 Cookbook from O'Reilly, which is scheduled to hit the shelves in April. Calling upon his expertise with Swift3D, Kris contributed a chapter on working with 3D in Flash 8.

{ 02/10/2006 } We have combined the power of Adobe Flash and Adobe Flash Media Server 2.0 to provide the live video/audio and text messaging in the deaf and hard of hearing live interpreting application and site of SignOn VRI. Check out their brand new site here.
